2017 - the band started off as just a few musicians with the interest in making music together.  The band at this time focussed on playing classic rock and vintage punk while weaving in some original tunes of their own.   they played their first show for the "condo people" - the residents of the community where the band rehearsed. 

2021 - By this time The band had added another set of songs and they were ready to play another public event - a backyard going away party.  Having never really settled on a name, the band continued to prepare for the party, "When we play the going away party, we'll need to have a better mixer.  When we play the farewell party we will need more extension cords, when we play the farewell party we will need monitors, and when we play Holly's farewell party we will need a name. . "  And thus the name was born.

2022 - The band gradually increased the frequency of their gigs.  They continued playing classic rock, vintage punk, and originals .. . but had also started to phase in more 90's alternative hits. 

2023 - This year experienced the greatest changes in the band's style and direction.  The band phased out the punk, classic rock, and originals and started focussing more on pop and alternative hits mostly from the 80's and 90's. 

2024 - The band has narrowed its focus to upbeat pop, alt, and modern rock from the 90's to now.  

2025 - Holly's Farewell is Gearing up for a new and Exciting Adventure. . Stay tuned!
